TAG Club News
Hello TAG Families,
Well the hammer has finally fallen. TAG is closed today Tues Nov 24 as of 6.30 pm until further notice. We only updated our safety plan 3 days ago to satisfy Fraser Health and we were good to go. So now without any notice sent to ViaSport or Gymnastics BC so they in turn could notify all of the Gymnastics Clubs in BC they have closed us all down. Our member clubs in Vancouver were unaware of the closure and were not delighted to see the Police show up at their club and escort everyone out.
I would not be happy to see this happen to our TAG athletes and staff so we are pre-empting this nasty visit and closing up shop.
We will keep you informed as to the status of our closure and resumption of classes.
TAG has just opened some morning pre-school classes !! Burn off some energy with jumping, balancing and climbing!
Busy Bee 1 is a parent and tot class starting at 9:00 am and is 45 min. Class size is limited to 8.
Busy Bee 3 is for the energized 2 & 3 year old and starts at 9:45 and 10:45 and is 1 hour long. These classes are limited to 6 and are the perfect place to have the ultimate social distancing as the gym space is only for this class!
Again there is no one else in the gym at this time, so a perfect class to get some energy burned off safely!! All week night Busy Bee 3 classes at this time are full. If you would like to register please click on the link below.
TAG is proud to announce the offering of a competitive boy's gymnastics program. Long Time BC men's coach Paul Massey will head up the program. He has produced many BC champions and Winter Games team members. Phone the gym at 604-468-0121 to arrange a try out!

Dear valued customer
As British Columbia public health authorities develop guidelines to lift some restrictions on gathering in a responsible way, Gymnastics BC has been working with viaSport and the Province of British Columbia to understand the recommendations of our Chief Provincial Health Officer and how they best apply within sport.
The attached TAG COVID-19 Safety Plan has been developed in order to ensure:
health and safety of all individuals is a priority
activities are in alignment with provincial health recommendations
modifications to activities are in place in order to reduce the risks to each sport organization and its participants
our sport is united and aligned on a plan to reopen throughout the province
While we do hope things will return to normal in the not too distant future, this COVID-19 Safety Plan will be the ‘new normal’ until we are advised otherwise by public health authorities.
If you choose to enter the club facility and/or participate in activities, you must follow these rules:
If you don’t feel well or are displaying symptoms of COVID-19, you must stay home.
If you have (or if someone from your household has) traveled outside of Canada, you are not permitted at the facility until you have self-isolated for a minimum of 14 days.
If you live in a household with someone who has COVID-19 or is showing symptoms of COVID19, please stay home.
Wash your hands before participating.
Bring your own equipment, water bottle and hand sanitizer.
Comply with physical distancing measures at all times.
Avoid physical contact with others, including shaking hands, high fives, etc.
Leave the facility as quickly as possible after the program, parents should plan to drop off and pick up their children promptly at the scheduled times.
